Class 1 Blue BlogSwimming in the Sea of Learning

1 Blue at the Black Country Museum

We had a fantastic time on our trip at the Black Country Museum. We learnt lots about the past and had the opportunity to gain a first hand understanding of what life would have been like in the past through lots of different experiences at the museum.

The Museum staff were amazed at how good our school was. They thought that the behaviour and attitudes to learning from the children in Year 1 was exemplary and they had such a great time spending the day with us! The children really made all of their teachers proud to hear comments like this!

What did you learn about the past from the trip?

What were the houses like in the past?

What was different about life then and life now?
