We had a fantastic first day celebrating British Science Week! We began the day by attending an exciting Science assembly! It was full of cool explosions and exciting experiments! In year 4 we are focusing on our environment. We looked at the book 'Where's the elephant?' and explored the imagery, meanings and important messages behind the story. Also, in class we made rain gauges to measure rainfall over the week and a mini Eco-system that we will be observing everyday. Finally, we ended the day by visiting 'Jupiter Jade' in the Science pod. She taught us how to make exploding volcanoes using vinegar and baking soda! We really enjoyed this experience!
