  1. Coner had a nightmare. Not an ordinary nightmare.A nightmare with shouting and screaming. The nightmare ,which kept chasing coner like a mouse looking for its cheese.Coner was really nervous.without a sound coner sketched what he could see through his large immense window he saw a mammoth figure walking carelessly.Suddenly,he saw something unusual. He saw the pen next to him awoken from its sleep. It new something was wrong. It did all it could but couldn’t run.

  2. Conor was enraged at the monster and ignored his powerful words.
The next morning conors blaring clock struck 12:07 he ignored this and tried to sleep but he could not it was too late. The monster intered throw the back

  3. This was the only thing that made him forget his troubles and pains which was continuously hammering into his brain confusing things between him and the outside world. His mum: who was irritated with pain ,for her new medicine was not putting her puzzle pieces back together, was feeling rather downcast. She struggled with everyday jobs so Conor (as unhelpful as he thinks)took up the responsibility for looking after her and the house(with his nans doubt). Not such a job for a thirteen year old boy but he had no choice(unhappily). Her illness was getting worse and nothing could help her pain. SHE HAS TO GET BETTER He could see it in her face every time she had a mental breakdown in the darkness. However, he knew she would get better. SHE HAD TO .
The Monster showed up just after midnight,7 minutes to be precise. As they do…

Conor was awake when it came, still drawing in his own world until it was 12:07.He was transformed even more… BEEP! BEEPP!!BEEEPPP!!! went his alarm ,a banshee-like scream.

  4. His wrist swirved and slid around his page deep into the world of monsters creating a mixture of feeling in his determined mind.

It was the only thing that kept him calm in his own world.

  5. Conor’s imagination flew onto his paper as his hand maenovered around the peice of paper but suddenly his red marker had rolled over to his transparent window and also so did all of the other objects he had in his hollow room. He got up and took three steps towards his window and in the pitch black night there was a strange branch sticking out the tree but then it was starting to move but Conor had no reaction and just kept on staring.the tree had transferred int a wooden monster and the colossal monster took 2 monstrous steps to get to Conor’s house…

  6. A brave and protective kid called Conor helped his mother that was very ill and the thing that Conor did in his spare time was draw so that is what he did so as Conor was drawing across the illuminated paper from the moonlight and then he was looking out of the stable but terrifying window then all of the objects rolled towards the window and Conor noticing a gigantic thud along the treacherous graveyard noticing that a tree was growing for Conor at the speed of light and he had noticed that it was a monster walking straight towards him (the monster reached the point of where he wanted to be) “I have come to get you” roared the monster “no STAY AWAY” he added “i have come to get you Coner O Mally”” i have come to tell you 3 story’s” ” story’s”said Coner confused

  7. The young old boy Connor is dreaming a nightmare and then he woke up and looked at the graveyard where was a abandoned church and a mysterious tree which at 12:07 he becomes alive and tells Connor 3 stories and he wants Connor to tell him the 4th.

  8. Conor’s pencil moved angellicaly on the paper pressing smoothly as it became a
Magnificent collection of markings and what a sight it was . Then he looked out the window and saw the the tree trashing and the clock hit 12:07 and all the other objects started to roll down the floor and move next to the wall . Suddenly the tree
Started to rumble like an earthquake and the thick branches came out and twirled into a muscular hand and reached out the tree rolled over and turned into a body with a big broad face it was walking slowly and destroying everything in its path
Like a walking wrecking ball .

It walked through the bushes and leaves while Conor looked in awe it stopped and looked at Conor monstrously and and said Ina booming voice ” I HAVE COME TO GET YOU CONOR O” MALLEY! Conor shut the door and said “we’re did you come from and what do you want . “I HAVE COME TO HELP YOU”
I don’t want you help . “I HAVE COME TO TELL YOU THREE TALES AND ATLAST THE NIGHTMARE YOU HAVE”.” I don’t want your stupid stories there for baby’s and I am not going to tell my nightmare well not to you I am not now
    Go away”.

  9. Connors body shivered. He started to sweat and bite his nails. Connor O’Malley slowly put his head phones off trembling in fear. The wind made weird, frightening noises outside while the house inside creaked. The poor boy payed close attention to all these noises as he unblinkingly watched all sorts of stationary roll on his bedroom floor.

“What is happening”, he said to himself . Maybe it was a bad idea to start drawing in the middle of the night, as it rained furiously outside while thunder struck the ground every minute.

I paused. sweat pouring. teeth trembling. That was when I saw something very bad . Something mysterious. Something …… IT WAS A MONSTER ! I stood right in front of the misty window acting that I am not scared. Foot by foot the monster came closer to Conner . Every step he makes the more infuriated I get .

Outside, the rain fell harder and harder while the thunder sounded louder and louder.

I stood there while the monster said, “I HAVE COME FOR YOU CONNOR O’Malley.”

Connor shouted, “WHAT DO YOU WANT!” The more the monster talks to Connor the more frightened he gets.

The monster replied, “GO TO YOUR POORLY OLD MOTHER, GO SAVE HER!”

The poor boy screeched, “YOU LEAVE HER ALONE ,I AM NOT SCARED OF YOU.”

Just then the monster said, “YOU JUST WAIT AND SEE TOMORRO I WILL COME AND GIVE YOU 3 STORIES AND AFTRE YOU WILLTELLME YOUR NIGHTMAIR.”

Connor said, “No you won’t and what Nightmare.”

“THE NIGHTMAIR YOUR ALWAYS DREAMING OFF!” Shouted the monster .

Connor then replied, “I WONT TELL YOU MY NIGHTMAIR NEVER I DONT EVEN HAVE ONE!”

“ANYWAYS SEE YOU TOMMORO AT 12|07.” .Grumped the monster .

“NO you wont and I wont come at 12|07.” said Connor.

Slowly the monster went back to becoming a creepy looking tree and poor young Conner carried on drawing.

  10. Delicately connor pressed his pencil onto the ghost-like paper making contact with each other.seconds into his drawing, his mind already was into his own imagination on what he was drawing.A dark picture was building and building in his dreaming mind.he was drawing happily and clearly on his very own table in his cozy wide room….
Then suddenly at 12:07,he heard three monsterous, large steps the large monsterous steps shook the whole room.shaking all his photos and drawings that stood in his cinematic room.turing to the widow Conor saw a normall, looking tree in the distance.conor sat on his chair wondering what and how could a small tree shake a room.shaking more and more it started growing in the distance what did it look like?was it a growing tree?,was it a tree person?
Yes,yes it was it was a tree man he was taking large gigantic steps reaching forward to the wooden old house.reaching out was his large twiggy arms he took monsterous steps leaping forward with his muscular twiggy body first then his long dark rooted feet going after.
A fierce, ugly unique face poped up into the open widow Conor took two mini steps back.’roarrrrrrrrrrrrr’ went the monster or should I say tree man.”what are you ?”Conor asked cautiously.”why” “why what”said Conor.”why do you need to know what I am?”,”why do you want to go to run to your mummy”. “NO” connor shouted no”I don’t want to run to my mum I’m NOT scared of you” Conor turnt and walked to his bedroom door to close, because he wanted to prove to the tree man that he wasn’t scared.”I will tell you three stories and you will tell me your nightmare”.”no no I don’t even know you why would I tell you MY nightmare”.”now leave me “fine I’ll leave you now but I’ll see you again soon”

This is my part of the story

  11. Conna who is a young healthy artistic boy that loves drawing is having a nightmare a bad one like when the wind screams and the moonlight poures in the room do you get what am talking about??
So as I was saying Connor is always awake cleaning and making tea it is unusual for a 13 year old.The mother who is very pale and sick is Connors mum . Connor always gets bullied in school and he feels anxious.

  12. Conor as usual was dreaming away in wanders . The young boy was always distracted by his beautiful unbelievable drawings. His eyes were transfixed to the ghost like paper pay no attention to what he’s drawing . When all of a sudden he saw some stationary manoeving creeklly towards the plain unbreakable wall . The time was 12:07 . Conor walked slowly towards the window wandering what the sound was . As the doing go closer he could hear someone stomping as loud as a lion roaring . It was a gigantic monster Conor couldn’t believe his eyes .
The monster politely said to Conor ” I’m here to get u Conor O’Malley ”
” No your not” answered Conor .
” Aren’t you going to run for your mum “replied the monster.
“I’m not scared of you and your not going to touch her” shouted Conner . At that moment conors sweat was pouring down his face . The hurendous monster wanted to tell Conor 3 storys but he didn’t want to listen .

  13. Connor which was dreaming of horrible nightmares suddenly woke up with a terrifying shock. He was starting to draw onto the pale paper with his ghost-like moves which makes a picture of his nightmares.Until…

The pen fell down the table and started rolling quickly towards the dusty wall. That took Connor attention he stared at the pen.He looked around the window then looked towards the window. It was a windy and a dark night he looked at the time it was 12:07am.He shouted “mum”
But there was no reply. He stood up and then he started walking-shivering from past weird events occurring to him – towards the dilapidated widow sill and looked around his property. Then something struck at him.It took him a split second to realise that a tree had turned into a monster. It made the daylights leave his body. He felt like it a nightmare coming to life. Just before him was a tree-like monster with eyes, nose and mouth made out of fierce flames ready to destroy anything in its way. Conner felt his heart pumping even if he had a monster in front of his face he didn’t get scared or even show that he is scared.
What will happen next ? no one knows…

    I hope you enjoyed it.

  15. CONOR
it said.no its just the wind because it wasnt his mother and its definetely not a monster there for babys.CONOR he heard it say. He looked out of the window objects started rolling towards the window. It all pointed towards the yew tree.Roots fired out of the ground like a rocket twigs wrapped around itself forming two colossol legs.It destroyed every thing in its path like mere toys.
Finally it reached toward Conor destroying his room.I have come to get you Conor.

  16. Delicately and rhythmically, Conor pressed his pencil on the ghost-like paper. Slowly, his wrist moved around the smooth large paper like a metal, computerized cargo-bot. Conor’s mum, who was so weak, could not do any jobs. So, Conor had to do all of the household chores which is so helpful. Unfortunately, Conor had no choice but do the chores. Gradually, Conor’s mum was getting weaker … and weaker and weaker. At 12:07, The Monster showed up outside Conor’s wooden, brown house. Conor was still drawing on his rough paper. Conor’s toys and his other objects were gravitating towards the wall. Carefully, Conor moved towards the misty window pane. When he looked through the window he saw a yew tree far away from him. Conor could hear loud screams echoing through the pitch-black sky. Slowly, the yew tree was turning into a muscular body with muscles. It was made out of sticks, branches and oak twigs. The banshee-like, shrilling scream vibrated the foundations of Conor’s house. The Monster was taller than most houses. It knocked everything that came in it’s way. The fierce monster bellowed ‘I have come to get you , Conor o ‘Malley!’ ‘No! Go away! You won’t take me away! shouted Conor. ‘ I have come to get you, Conor O’Malley’ The Monster repeated.

  17. Conor manoeuvered his pencil delicately around the paper creating a image in your head. His hobby was to draw pictures of trees and people. He had a really hard week, because his mum was struggling with her new medicine and she was getting even weaker than before. She struggled with the jobs in the house so connor had the responsibiltly. The monster came at 12.07 and he would tell connor three stories each time.He had a victorian bedroom. He would have really scarey nightmare.

  18. A Monster calls

Connor , as usual was lost in a different art planet , while he moved his wrists slowly as to not get it wrong but he had more trust in himself than anyone to get the painting to be a diamond.

As minutes passed by, he concentrated on each part of the paper so he does not send it into the wrong path .He was proud of his own work and added the extras.

In a panic, he thought about his nightmare he had for the past few months but he also heard a noise….

He looked outside his window, and he saw a big creature .But was it a creature ,But what type of creature was it…

it was an oak tree monster….[dun..dun..dun..]then he came closer and he said thayt he came to get him but connor said to leave his mum alone and him alone but then the monster replied that he had come to get him….[what could happen next ?]………………………………………………….

  19. Wandering away in dreams was Connor, who revealed a very similar scene of his nightmare. The one, that is very common to him.Not knowing what is to come just sketching away.

Continuously, sketching. Startled at the page ,wandering.Just wandering what sounds he could hear.He stood up asking himself “what is that?”
Sweat was every where at the moment. It was like lightning but with lava coming through the window.

Statued was Connor. Wanting to go to his mother, but he knew what dangerous he could cause.Alamered he was, concentrating only on the Unknown walking monster wandering the dangers that would happen.

Darkness and draught gusted around Connors rigid body. Just beyond him was a shaggy, bear- like fir tree leant against the ancient house and tapped Connor fiercely.

  20. The monster calls

this story is about a boy, not just any boy a boy who has a nightmare which is the truth and it just keeps going around his head.now I the monster will tell you how I met him.

A boy named Conor was sketching an admiring picture with his manoeuvring hand then it happened the house was shaking everything was gravitating to the door then that’s when it came the yew tree started to form into a giant monster.Conor stared in horror as the monster started to stomp towards him.His heart was beating as the monster was coming closer finally the monster got there and said, Conor O’Malley, he replied “yes” and “I will tell you three stories” shouted the monster “no I no I don’t want to hear 3 stories” says Conor”I know what happened to your mum” “don’t include my mum” cried Conor.

  21. The monster calls

this story is about a boy, not just any boy a boy who has a nightmare which is the truth and it just keeps going around his head.now I the monster will tell you how I met him.

A boy named Conor was sketching an admiring picture with his manoeuvring hand then it happened the house was shaking everything was gravitating to the door then that’s when it came the yew tree started to form into a giant monster.Conor stared in horror as the monster started to stomp towards him.His heart was beating as the monster was coming closer finally the monster got their and t

  22. Away in his dreams, sketching his lost imagination, on his ghost like paper. Which seemed to be like the same picture he dreamt that night but not any dream, the dream, that was his true nightmare other then the rest of his dream. His hand manoeuvred around the thin paper, with every twist and turn he would remember what really disturbed him the most.

Suddenly, as Connor was away in is creation he heard loud disturbing footstep screaming from outside. Just a moment later, every object started gravitating across the wood made floor towards the perfectly caved door. Finally Connor realised the moving objects and walked towards the door but as soon as he got out of his comfy and delighted chair the monster which appeared in many different dreams was shown by his sour eyes.

The monster rushed his delicate arms around Connors body and shouted “ I have come to collect you Connor O’Malley” “ No you leave her along this is between me and you” Connor shouted “ I’m not here for her I am here for you “ ,The monster snapped, “ Now come into my arms Connor O’Malley. . . “

  23. Dreaming away in wander’s was Connor who was sketching pictures from a very familiar nightmare that he had just recently . were ever he was the nightmare followed him like a sewn on rag when he tried to think of nice thing’s but he still thought of it.
Have is eyes were fixed on to the ghost like paper He paid no atension to the pens rolling of the side of his desk but pade more a atension to his picture Connor stood up and was looking out the window. His eyes were transfixed to the yew tree suddenly the tree started to arms and legs out it stood up and walked towards comers room window destroking anything in his way

  24. Drawing away silently, was Conor. He was drawing something he would regret. It was familiar to him. Of course it was. He had it every night lately. It was a nightmare. Not A nightmare, but THE nightmare. The one with the floor crumbling away from his feet, his hand gripping onto another. He struggled to keep hold. He screamed out. His grip was slipping. And the hand fell away from him as quickly as it had appeared. Conor shook that nightmare away from his mind and kept drawing.

Conor had alot on his mind, his mother, the bullies and his grandmother. The only thing that tore him away from these thoughts was his drawing. It was honestly his only hobby. Conor was usually spending most of his time drawing, particularly at midnight. Midnight was when no one could disturb him, or so he thought…

It was seven minutes past midnight when IT came. Conor was drawing, as usual, but then when he settled down his pencil to admire his work, it rolled off of the table. It rolled towards the door, and stayed there. Then his shoes came rolling out from under his bed, and rolled to the same door. It couldn’t be a coincidence Conor thought. He peered at his window, which mysteriously opened up. Through it, he could see the old yew tree, the one which had been there for thousands of years. But this moment, most of its leaves had just fallen. Conor gaped in horror. The roots ripped out of the ground, throwing soil and dirt everywhere. They twisted together, forming a giant leg. The stump split apart and did the same. The rest of the tree broke apart and entwined to eachother to create a head, body and arms. Soon the yew tree was gone, and in its place, stood the Monster. It came stomping to the house. It was as big as the house itself! It left big impressions of itself in the muddy ground. It croaked, in a hoarse voice:
“I have come to get you, Coner O’ Malley.”
Conor cried out in horror, “Go away! You leave her alone!”
The Monster repeated “I have come to get YOU, Coner O’ Malley.

  25. A Monster calls

    (my version)

Swivels of delicate movement embraced the boy. Manoeuvring the once restrained paper, the boy placed a parabolic depiction, which pirouetted in his mind. A irresistible force, superintending his sanity. Shades of weakness had unfortunately brushed him. This was due to the illness of his impoverished mother, this kept his depiction alive.

Peculiarly, a perturb bellow raged the area. A time of inquietude: a time to face the truth.

Cognising from his true masterpiece, he still drew.

Well, it wasn’t his mother. Or was it? Unforgettable. A slice of danger. A tingling fear: a loss of air. The worst, unthinkable, threatening even murderous… it was a nightmare, screaming out of his mind.

Drifting towards the assertive windows items flew. Drifting as slow as ice melting, these items paced to the window. As moonlight drenched the room (Victorian – styled), it glared through his substantial panes of glass. Gravitating, everything flew towards the window in a peculiar type of danger.

Sweat tricked down his temples, like an earthquake. Now peering through the vague windows, he saw the nightmare a crepuscular shadow. Under its vast awning, gnarled ill- owmed roots dying right in front of him. He was perplexed in danger. Shooting through Conor’s eyes was a red beam, he was transfixed…

  26. Task 1

1]she had to-this creates suspense because it tells you a little information and you don’t know what will happen next.
2]ghost-like paper-this is a adjetive and also a synoem and it describes that it is not just pa[er and the tempeture is ghostly
3]…-this also creates suspense because you dont know what he is saying or doing because it dose not tell you

    task 2

Suddenly, there was a huge BOOM in the garden. It didn’t sound like the ones that a asteroid hits the ground. No .it was diferrent Conor looked out the victoren-like window.it was about a wavey thing in the distance he finally had saw what it was.it was the u tree it was forming into the most musculer tree he or anyone has seen . suddenly,a huge arm shot out from the ground and then another then a massive, colossal leg shot out then another

was it a monster he thought deeply…oh no .it was heading strait to him he crushed the fence of the garden and the lamp just like they were tiny ants standing right in front of him sudenly he woshed his arm through his window ‘I HAVE COME TO GET YOU CONOR ‘O MALLY’he said in a deep ulike sounded voice
‘YOU WONT GET HER YOU WON’T EVEN TOUCH HER’he shouted fumed .
‘I AM NOT HERE FOR HER I AM HERE FOR YOU’ he said carmly

  27. Connor’s pencil and the pale-white paper were in contact, but Connor’s brain and the pencil made no contact. Only seconds after continuously tapping the paper with the pencil a deep, solely image appeared in his mind. This was the object that lied deep inside that flesh and bones. It was his very one new improved brain when he was tired of the archaic, rugged one that whipped him to the core. This time the image in his overactive imagination was in-between. This image had gone past his conscience and has looked through the deep secrets of his dreams/NIGHTMARE. Connor expected no more from his crammed mind having experiencing a very despondent week: his mum’s medicine was making her suffer more than she would have ever experienced. She had no power in her as all she had was demolished by the deadly disease. Connor was left with mountains of chores toppling over him. He did not really mind as he was proud to support his mum no matter what. Every now and then he would look deep into his mum’s smiles and eyes and feel her pain and sorrow that showered over her. He kept on imagining her well and all fine with her beautiful image, but he wasn’t sure if his imagination would become a dream come true.
The monster divulged just after noon. After, the new day had begun.
Connor had kept his conscience when it had erupted, still drawing out his mind.

  28. Dreaming away in wanders was Connor, who unsheathed a drawing of a very familiar nightmare. The nightmare seen in the past and still to come in the future…

Continuously, gazing at the ghostly paper no attention to the clangour surrounding him. Connor stood looking perplexed. What was that?
A trickle of sweat slid down his shirt, gaping at the volcanic spark flashing through the glass paned windows.

The steady process of the extinction of the lights and the steady closing in of the monster went on alarmingly even though he had avoided the delay of surgeries for his mother. Conner feared and fought against the ferocious beast. The curtains were no more than ragged, rusty sheets.

Darkness and draught gusted around Connors rigid body. Just beyond him was a shaggy, bear- like fir tree leant against the ancient house and tapped Connor fiercely.
