This week we have been looking at different types of bar charts and how data can be presented. We have been solving world problems by analysing the data presented in these bar charts. Have a look at the bar chart below and answer the questions:-

- What colour cars were sold the most?
- What colour cars were sold the least?
- What was the difference of the red cars sold and the black cars sold?
- How many cars were sold in total?

**NEXT WEEK**

Next week we will be looking at area and perimeter of shapes.

**PERIMETER – The measurement of the outside area of a shape. (Add the total of each side together)**

**AREA – The ****measurement**** of the inside area of a shape. (Multiply the width by the length)**

See if you can work out the area and perimeter of this shape:-

1)The colour car that was sold the most was red.

2)The colour car that was sold the least was blue.

3)The difference between the red and the black cars were 10.

4)35 cars were sold altogether.

1)The red cars got sold the most as 15 were sold.

2)The blue cars were the least popular as only 4 were sold.

3)The difference between the popularity of the red and black cars was 10.

4)35 cars were sold all together.

1)The perimeter of the shape is 26cm altogether.

What colour cars were sold the most?

The colour car sold the most was red.

What colour cars were sold the least?

The colour car sold the least was blue.

What was the difference of the red cars sold and the black cars sold?

The difference between the red and black cars was 10.

How many cars were sold in total?

35 cars were sold altogether.

1) The red coloured cars sold the most .

2) Blue coloured cars were sold the least.

3) The difference between the red cars that were sold and the black was 10.

4) Altogether 35 cars were sold .

1)The red coloured cars were sold the most.

2)The blue coloured cars were sold the least.

3)The difference between the red and black cars are 10 cars because the red cars have 15 cars but the black have only 5 cars.

4)35 cars were sold altogether.
