    The statement is true.
Anni knows that 3/4 is 0.75 because she knows that 1/2 is 0.5 and 1/4 is 0.25 as a decimal. And if you add the 1/2 and 1/4 it makes 3/4 which is 0.75 as a decimal.

I have done it in the HW book.

    The statements are true.
It helps Annie by working out what 1/4 is as a decimal and it is 0.25 then you do 0.25 x 3 = 0.75. 0.75 is 3/4 as a decimal.
    Gold
    25/100=0.25
    25/100=1/4
    75/100=0.75
    75/100=3/4
    1/4=25/100
    1/2=50/100
    3/4=75/100
    50/100=1/2

    • Excellent Danyaal. For the gold challenge you need to write the equivalent fraction and the decimal. Can you add the information you have missed please?

  10. Silver
The statement is true because they are one quarter.
    Gold
    a.25/100=1/4 b.75/100=3/4 c.1/4=25/100 d.3/4=75/100
    e.25/100=1/4 f.3/4=75/100 g.50/100=1/2 h.50/100=1/2

    • Timothy, your answers need some attention. For silver, your need to be more clear. How can Annie work out 3/4 of 100 if she know what 1/2 and 1/4 is?

Also, for gold, you have given the correct equivalent fractions, but some require you to write the decimal too. Why don’t you write the decimal for each one to show deeper understanding.
