There are lots of ways that we can carry out research. We can use books, journals or the internet, to name a few. Today we are going to learn about research using technology. When researching using your laptop or tablet, it is important to be able to recognise which websites are reliable and up to date. Follow the link below to find out how to do this and other to gain other useful tips.

    Research is looking up information you don’t know.
    Keywords are main words that you type in for the internet to look for.

    I learned that the website is good when it has .com at the end of it.
    I learned that the website can be outdated so you need to check when the website was last updated.

    Remember do not make any mistakes when you are searching.
    Remember don’t use too many key words or ales you mite get no answer.

  30. I learnt that you can use quotation Mark’s around a set of words to find the phrase.
    Some addresses like .com and .co.uk are not always safe. I learnt that I dont have to write a sentence into the search bar and can just write one word.

    •Not to download stuff with a suspicious logo
    •Not to trust emails except from a school, government or my parents
