Greatest Mathematicians
This term in Maths, we have been learning about adding two numbers using jottings and tens and ones. We have also used the symbol for greater and smaller than < > =. We investigated the relationship between adding and subtraction. We learnt that the inverse of adding is subtraction. We also found out that when we add numbers together the total is greater and when we subtract it is smaller. We are getting very confident with our number bonds too.

ScienceThis half term we have been learning about animals. We have identified and named a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. We have also identified and named animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores.
TopicThis half term we have been learning about ‘Fantastic Foleshill’. The children learnt to name the features of our local area and describe the location. They collected traffic data and also described how pollution affects the local area.
