1 Blue Super Hero Day
To start our project week off Year 1 had a Super Hero Day! The children all dressed up as their favourite Super Hero and worked together to develop their problem solving and reasoning skills.
The children designed their own Super Hero’s and logos for their creation. They thought about the super powers that their character would have and linked these to Problem Solving and Reasoning.
The children worked independently to solve 1 step word problems. They had to identify whether each problem was addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.
We followed instructions and explored capacity when making a Super Hero potion that would give us super powers. What was your super power?
