Today you will be recording an extract from the poem and sending this via the sharepoint.

What makes a successful poet?
*Memorising the words
*Pronouncing words clearly
*Passion and expression sharing the meaning behind the phrases.
*Recording in a bright, quiet room.

Below are videos created by the wonderful year 5 LSA’s who have some tips on how to perform (and how not to)

https://youtu.be/GEQHud_HI8o
https://youtu.be/y8fN5BcD69g
https://youtu.be/_v-MYLc3yPc

As we are expecting you to upload your work to the sharepoint your video can not be longer than a minute– therefore you must only perform ONE stanza at a time.

In the comments write down which stanza you are recording so others in your class do another stanza.
(We do not want 90 videos of stanza one)

Here is a link to the poem: –The Walrus and the Carpenter

    My favourite poem
The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
No birds were flying overhead —
There were no birds to fly.

I made the video I hope you like it I have sent it.
