19/5 Maths- Angles recap via LBQ

Good morning year 6, today I thought it might be good to recap our learning about angles via LBQ rather than moving onto the next concept of angles.
When completing the LBQ task it is important to remember all the lessons we have learnt so far.

Right angles: 90 degrees
Total angles in a line: 180 degrees
Total angles in a TRIangle: 180 degrees
Total angles in a QUADrilateral: 360 degrees
Vertically opposite angles are equal

I know this is an isosceles triangle, therefore angle B and C equal the same.
I know all angles in a triangle total 180 degrees.
I have been given the information that angle A is 30 degrees.

Therefore my equation is 180 – A = …. (divide by 2 for angle B and C)

180 – 30 =150
150 divided by 2 = 75
A= 30 degrees, B = 75 degrees, C= 75 degrees

    • Jessica, the second question asks what is the sum of angles in a triangle.

      LOOK AT THE INFORMATION ON THE BLOG!

      Really not good enough at all, the answers in the pink box at the top of the blog. READ and do this again please.

      • Gerry you attempted the first question four times. The answer to that question is repeated twice on the blog above.

        If you read the blog recap, if you looked at the images you would know that angles in a quadrilateral total 360 degrees.

        Poor attempt, can you read the blog and try a little harder please.
