Good morning year 6, today I thought it might be good to recap our learning about angles via LBQ rather than moving onto the next concept of angles.

When completing the LBQ task it is important to remember all the lessons we have learnt so far.

**Right angles: 90 degreesTotal angles in a line: 180 degreesTotal angles in a TRIangle: 180 degreesTotal angles in a QUADrilateral: 360 degreesVertically opposite angles are equal**

The above is your code to access LBQ, please complete this before 5pm today. Once you’re on do not leave, complete the task.

Write your score below and an evaluation of your learning thus far in your comment.

I have done the task.

Good job, Sofia!

How did you get on?

Well done Sofia.

I have completed the lbq task.

I have completed this but would like to do more work on expressions.

You did really well Zuzanna, you will learn more about expressions in secondary school- yipee!

Hi, Mrs Ahmed, I didn’t finish the LQ task because I didn’t understand the question and I’m not that confident with angles too.

This is why it is important for you to be on the blog each day Khadija, in maths we have been studying angles.

Use these links to refresh your memory and then please go back and complete all the maths blog from last week.

I have completed one of the tasks I only did two questions on lbq because some of them were hard.

Jessica, the second question asks what is the

sum of angles in a triangle.LOOK AT THE INFORMATION ON THE BLOG!

Really not good enough at all, the answers in the pink box at the top of the blog. READ and do this again please.

I have completed the task.

You did really well, well done Maria!

How’s the reading chapter coming along?

I might do it today. I will email as soon as possible.

When I did the lbq I found a lot of them challenging for the expression and when they don’t give you an angle to work with.

What do you mean when they don’t give you an angle to work with?

I mean like I struggled when they said one angle was 3p and the other was p and I struggled to work it out.

I have done the task

Could you try again after you have done some revision;

I have done lbq.

Are you feeling confident working with angles?

Yes a little bit but I understand them after.

Looking forward to seeing your work!

I will attempt the tasks

Good lad!

Gerry you attempted the first question four times. The answer to that question is repeated twice on the blog above.

If you read the blog recap, if you looked at the images you would know that angles in a quadrilateral total 360 degrees.

Poor attempt, can you read the blog and try a little harder please.
