Hi Superstars!
Please find your name, watch the phonics lesson, then read the words. Your challenge is to spot the words with the sound you are learning.

Please leave a comment on the blog when you have completed your phonics learning.

Miss C-W’s group – Arjun, Adrian, Tinuola, Rexford, Hadiya, Hamida, Hishaam and Ebnezere – you will be exploring a non-fiction text and answering questions. (You can comment your answers on this blog).
You will focus on new vocabulary. Read the title, sounds, green words, look at the new vocabulary and read the definition. After that, read the red words.
Choose 3 words from the vocabulary checklist page and put them in sentences.

Mr Mahmood’s group – Ibrahim, Yasmin, Lewis, Raeesa, Aadam, Nabiha, Ranj and Alya – you will learn the ‘ear’ sound.

Mrs Mattu’s group – Rayan, Haroon, Maya, Safa and Mustafa – you will learn the ‘oa’ sound.

Miss Smith’s group – Yegor, Rahim, Ameena and Safwan – you will learn the ‘a-e’ sound.

Miss Jackson’s group – Imaad and Eva – you will learn the ‘ar’ sound.

Mrs T’s group – Muhammad O and Kitan – you will learn the ‘ck’ sound.
