Tuesday 22nd June- Year 5 Home Learning: Maths

Good morning Year 5!

Here is your Maths lesson for today. As always, work through the video lesson with me, completing the tasks I have given you. Then, move onto the challenges posted below. You should have about a page’ worth of work from this lesson if you have completed it properly.

Only do the challenges below if you have worked through the video above!

Complete the work to the best of your ability, showing how you have solved each challenge clearly and in different ways. Then, send your completed work to the share point link here: Sharepoint

A shows a translation of the original shape because it is directly opposite to each other and is symmetrical.

The translation of that shape was A because I can see it is upside down. In addition, it cannot be B or C because they are either tilted to the side or have moved a few spaces to the side.

The first coordinate might have been (2,3).
The second coordinate might have been (6,5).
The third coordinate might have been (4,1).
There is a pattern within the transition, which means in each way they are adding or subtracting 2 away from the coordinates.
