22/06/21- YR 5 Basic Skills-SPAG: To use semi-colons, colons accurately .

Today for Basic Skills, you will be learning about colons and model verbs. Please write your date and title, underlined in your best handwriting- Tuesday 22 June 2021, Basic Skills To use semi-colon, colon. All your work needs to be completed neatly on paper and sent to the share point please.

Time for a bit of colon surgery: insert the colon!

        If you want to use a semi colon you use it instead of a comma and a conjunction and with a colon you use it before a list.
