3 Red Art Around the world week- India!

3 Red have had a magnificent week of learning. For our art around the world week, we having being focusing on India! The children have explored Indian culture by visiting a Hindu temple, learning Indian dances and eating Indian food. We have learnt about the geography and history of India and made some fantastic pieces of art! The children have meticulously drew Mandala patterns, stuck shapes to create Rangoli inspired patterns. We have created a collaborative piece of art, painting onto tiles and have printed our Indian designs onto cushion covers! What a lovely end to a brilliant half term! Enjoy your break everyone, see you back on November 1st! Please watch the video below to see what we have been up to!
