3 White Art Day

Miss Redhead

Today we have had a wonderful day. we have made 3D art with recycled materials.

We have used observation skills to sketch and shade a tree.

We have used layering, colour mixing and stippling to recreate Van Gogh’s Cherry Blossoms.

    My favourite part was when we sketched the Queen’s green canopy project because we were getting stung again and again. I have learned a new called stippling for creating the cherry blossom tree

    My favourite part was panting a cherry blossom tree by Van Gogh because it makes me feel calm. I could Improve this day by making bigger trees with different techniques because it will be challenging and even more fun. The skill I have learnt is stippling. with the paint brush. The most interesting part is was searching about the queen’s green canopy because I learnt much more about it and I didn’t know are school had the queen’s green canopy. I disliked when we sketched out the queen’s canopy because it was frustrating and stressful and hard but I never give up.

    I really enjoyed Friday. The thing I liked the most was everyone in the school was painting or making something about trees. Yesterday l loved the fact that year 6 made a swing on one of their life sized trees, also I liked when we were painting trees. I adored the fact that the day was based on trees and trees are nature.

    This was the best I had so much fun this was a very fun type of picture to do because you have to put alot of effort and time into making it I loved making this picture . everyone’s picture was great good job!

    I really enjoyed Friday. It was super fun and I had so much fun, because we drew a lot of stuff. Friday was the best day of the week, because we didn’t even write! And I really liked all the activities we did and when we drew the tree for the Queen. When we drew a piece of art from Van Gough, it was really nice and the step-by step really helped me to use watercolours easier. I really liked Friday.
