3J-Egyptian day!

This week we have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians! To end our super week of learning, we had an Egyptian day!

We learnt and used Egyptian hieroglyphics, Created our own Egyptian cartouche, tasted Egyptian food and even had a go at wrapping a friend up as a mummy just like the Egyptians did!

  1. I really enjoyed that day but there was one thing that i was a pit upset with and that is the lazy effort with my dress.I didn’t like it but everyone has good work.I really really love Louis,Kaiden and Inaaya’s dress!!!!

  6. Mummification means when a person who is dead gets muumified. Mummified means when a person that is dead gets wraped with a material. This also means some of their body parts are removed.

  7. Over many centuries the ancient Egyptians developed a method of preserving bodies is they would remain lifelike. The process included embalming the bodies and wrapping them in strips of linen. Today we call this process mummification Egyptians.

    TutanKhamun was a boy King, he became Pharaoh at the tender age of nine in 1337. The reason TutanKhamun is so well know today is that his tomb, containing fabulous treasures.

    The artefact are important because they present the history of Egyptains.

He is a pharaoh that is famous because Howard carter found his tomb witch was full with treasure. 3. They tell us how they do things and lived like.
