3R begin their Rock Detective adventure!

This afternoon, 3 Red investigated different types of rock: igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. they learnt about the properties of these rocks and how they are formed. Mrs Begum taught them some actions to help them remember the different types.

We challenged them to look around for rocks in their garden, on the way home, around the city etc and they can bring in what they find!
