4 Blue’s Arts Around the World Week – Trinidad and Tobago

Wow 4 Blue, what an awesome end to an amazing half term!

We have had so much fun exploring Trinidad and Tobago which is part of the Commonwealth. Over the last few days we have been busy locating Trinidad and Tobago and it’s neighbouring countries on a map, comparing their physical and human features to the UK’s and researching and creating fact files about King Charles III who is their head of state.

Linking this to art, we have listened to and appreciated music from Trinidad and Tobago and made our own instruments using junk. We also looked at the artist Wayne Pascall and created sorrel flowers with water colours. Using oil pastels, we created a piece of art inspired by the Windrush generation.

    I learned wind rush generation the double page poster was fun

    I have used knowledge.
    This is because we had to do lots of paragraphs based on Trinidad and Tobago.
    I enjoyed making the piece of art with the sunset because art is my 2nd favourite subject. I have learnt that there temperatures are very high.
