    1) The Anglo-Saxon era began in 410 AD.
    2) The Anglo-Saxon era ended in 1066 AD after the battle of Hastings.
    3) The Vikings made things harder for the Anglo- Saxons with their raids.
    4) The region of England is Mercia that we would have lived in.
    5) A churl is a farmer.
    6) The best part of the day is when we saw who could make the most intimidating noise.

      Thank you Nuha, The Anglo-Saxon era is fascinating. In many ways, the Romans (who came before the Anglo-Saxons) were technologically more advanced than both the Saxons and the Vikings. When the Romans left, they left a political vacuum that was taken advantage of by settlers and raiders.
