4 Red-World Book Day

Today has been world book day. The children had the opportunity to dress up as their favourite character, from a book. The day was set around the famous book ‘ George’s Marvellous Medicine, written by the author : Ronald Dahl. Take a look at the video below and see all the fun activities that the children have got up to.

Can you tell me what your favourite part of the day has been and why?

We had an amazing day thank you Mrs Khaliq. No i didn’t try the medicine although there were a few requests from the children who wanted to make me shrink just like the mean old granny.
Well done for an amazing day of learning,

Looks like you had a fantastic World Book Day 4 Red! So many smiles. Great diary entries and super pop art. I loved the revolting medicines you made for granny too! Did anyone try feeding it to Mr Kane or Mrs Walker?

We’ve all had a great day Mrs Khaliq. Surprisingly, no they didn’t 😂.

I have really enjoyed making the magic potions with you all and reading your diary entries. My goodness me, some of you had really thought about how to get grumpy granny back, for being so mean to poor George.
