3. How are relationships important for entrepreneurs?
4. What makes an organised entrepreneur?

DAY 1 TASK 2:
So that you can understand how people have made a career out of baking, we would like you to research a famous entrepreneur. (Pick one from the following and use the links under their picture)

Lorraine Pascale:

DAY 1 TASK 3:
Now that you have been inspired by real life entrepreneurs, it is your turn to put together a business plan that could make you the next money-making superstar.

What is a business plan?

So here is your brief:
You will be designing and making cakes. If you were to sell the cakes, you need to sell them for more than the cost of making them. In your business plan you will need to think of and outline these key areas:
What is your cake idea?
*How will it be different from other cakes?
*Where would they be sold?
Market Research: (Use your family)
*What did the people who you spoke to about the idea think?
*Did they have any suggestions to make it better?
Management: (Use members of your family, you don’t have to do it all as you are the manager)
*Who is incharge of finance?
*Who will be incharge of the making?
*What is the packaging design?
*Who will make a poster/video to advertise your cake?
Finances:
*How much does it cost to make your product?
*What will you charge for the cake?
*How much profit will you make?
*Will you have promotions for multiple sales?

An example of how you could present it, but you can do it anyway you want.
