Our big question for today was….
Can sound move objects?
To test this, we created Seismometers.
What did you find out?
We addressed stereotypes when we discussed what a scientist is. We researched scientist ‘Harshnira Patani’ and her journey to become a scientist,
Tell me three things you have learnt about Harshnira Patani.
The children were given a big question about art resources.
Can we thin oil paints and oil pastels with water?
Firstly, we tried to thin the oil paints, poster paint, oil pastels and soft pastels by adding water.
Upon finding the oil pastels and paint didn’t thin, we planned an experiment to understand why.
Explain: why couldn’t we think the oil pastels and the oil paints?
At the end of the day, the Year 5 children shared their learning with the Yea4 6 children.
