Our aim at the end of this unit is to “sell” a country, make something sound appealing, persuade people to buy a holiday in that country.

Today, we shall practice using persuasive language to “sell” something else. Here are the items ….

  • Skirts for Boys

    It did persuade me.
    The features that I spotted are:
    Alliteration
    Rhetorical questions
    Emotive language
    Personal appeal(you, your, we)

    The adverts persuaded me to buy skirts for boys.
    The persuasive language used were rhetorical questions and adjectives.
    The drama was really fun!
