5 Star Performance in 5 Goal Win.

Broad Heath 5 John Gulson 3

Team; Ayub, Humayan (c),Idris,Junior,Mohammed Osman,Ibrahim,Rayne.Subs:Amaan & Siver

This was a game which must have been great fun to play in because it was an entertaining and skillful game to watch, solely due to the outstanding performances of all players from both teams on show.

Broad Heath were unchanged from their last game and had the perfect start when Junior flew down the left wing beating his marker before hitting a low left foot shot deceiving the John Gulson goalie with its power.

The game settled down and both teams showed great skill and commitment and lots of attacking intent.Rayne kept up his impressive “goal a game” record by smashing the ball into the net from the edge of the penalty area.

This seemed to inspire John Gulson into making more effort and they quickly replied with a goal of their own and a second just before half time.

In the second half both teams continued to attack, with Idris and Humayan playing well in defence and Ayub impressing in goal. The midfield of Junior,Mohammed and Ibrahim started to take control and were a great support to Rayne with their dribbling, passing and movement.

Mohammed and Junior added further goals and John Gulson scored their third setting up a nervy finish. However our 2 subs Amaan and Siver made all the difference with Amaan scoring a superb individual goal to finish the game with Broad Heath the victors 5-3.
