5 White British Values day 3

On day 3 of our British Values week we began to think about our bake off competition.

We also built on what we learnt about democracy and looked at theocracy and dictatorship.

We also looked at our core British Values in a workshop – some children were left out of the game, was this ok? Did the game represent a fair society?

  1. When some people were left out of the game it was so unfair. The game was not a fair society. The people who were left out didn’t have a good time.

  2. When some children did not join in the games we were playing it was unfair. While we were playing the games she spoke to the people strictly who did not join in the game. She also gave them hard tasks. The game did not represent a fair society because some people did not have fun and all they did was face the wall.

  3. The people who were left out (me) was very lonely because everyone had the opportunity to have fun while we were giving harsh instructions where so mean and because the rest of the children had fun they soaked up all the fun in order to say no to was having fun with them. This helped us to treat everyone fair and equal.

  4. In the workshop game people were being left out and I think that that is unfair as the British values talk about equality and everybody should be treated respectfully.

  5. The people left out of the game was not ok because we were having fun but they were not. The game did not represent a fair society because some people did not have fun and all they did was face the wall.

  6. When other people are left out its not fair that your not letting them to join in.The people who were having fun and when the teacher asked should they come to the theme park, they all said no.Always let everyone join in and if a few people play its not going to be fun but if lots of people play its always better.

  7. It was not fair to leave some people out of the game and it was very cruel. This means you are treating people differently, therefore when your leader treats them badly you start to pick up the habit of not allowing them to join the game. Then you wont let them join in with the fun.

You should always treat people the same, even if they have a different religion, culture or skin colour.

  8. It was not fair that some people were left out of the game as they didn`t have fun but everyone else enjoyed it.It wasn`t a fair society as they left out some of the children so they couldn`t play at all. They didn`t treat their friends equally.

  9. When some people were left out in the game if was cruel and unfair. The game was not fair society because it was nit having disrespectful and unfair because they couldn’t join in and it was mean. You should always be kind and friendly and never leave anyone out in your group.

  10. I don’t think this was okay because it wasn’t fair on those people because the rest of the class got to go on an adventure and we got to have a cat walk then after that we had a big party so then the people who were left out didn’t have a good time.

  11. When some people were left out of the game it was so unfair. The game was not a fair society because it was not having respect and it was so unfair to the children who were not playing. You should always play with your friends fairly and also play respectfully.
