5 White’s Celebrations around the world week!

What a great week we’ve had 5 White! I’ve learnt so much about Christmas that I didn’t know before, and the different traditions around Christmas in Germany were fascinating to find out about!

    1) Project week I enjoyed researching about the Grimms fairy tales and acting out Hansel and Gretel .

    2) The progress I made in that week was that I learnt who Krampus was and who the Grimm brothers were . Also I learnt how Christmas is celebrated in Germany.

    3) The skills I developed were my confidence skills and teamwork skills , confidence because before I would be scared to go up and speak but now I feel confident .

    1.I enjoyed when we dramatised Hansel and Gretel,which is by the Grimms brothers (Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm).
    2.I made progress because now I know the History behind the Grimms Brothers and Krumpus. Krumpus is a half goat,half man, he is called a demond by some.
    3.I developed my teamwork skills when we were acting out Hansel and Gretel.

    This week I enjoyed learning the history of Krampus because for me it was very interesting to learn about and it was something very unique.
    I made progress by improving my social skills and learning the Christmas traditions Germans have.
    I developed by learning some more social skills.

      I enjoyed learning about the Grimms fairy tales and performing Hansel and Gretel in groups.
      I made progress by learning the differences and similarities about England and Germany.
      I developed my action skills .
