5B Persuasion

As we have been learning about persuasive texts this week, we challenged the children to persuade someone to by some interesting items including chocolate ants, skirts for boys and nappies for all ages!

What persuasive tricks have the children used?

    We have used our personal appeal emotive language rhetorical questions repetition exaggeration

    The persuasive tricks were rhetorical question ( a rhetorical question is when the author like writes a question that lets the reader think about the answer) and exaggeration like you need this, they also used Modal verbs such as you shall should can. Should means you can do it. Can means there is a possibility of it happening.
