5Blue-Joy of movement week 2

This week we have focused on bind and mind. The children have developed understanding of how physical activity can effect the body and mind.

We thought about different physical activity and whether they fit into the categories of strength, stamina and flexibility.

We spelt our name using this page and carried out the matching activity.
What activities did you do and and did you use stamina, strength and flexibility?

We used the all weather pitch to develop movement, exercise and stretches.

    1. I done all of them.
    2. I would work on stamina because I lose energy very quick.

    I used stamina, flexibility and strength when flapping my arms while spinning in a circle.
    I mostly want to improve my stamina in hockey or football so when someone has the ball I can tackle them or defend the goal when someone is about to shoot.
    Saturday-running around the house
    Sunday- walking around the house from upstairs to downstairs and in the kitchen to get my iPad and back to the living room

    I used stamina flexing and strength to do small circles with my arm.
    I want to develop my strength to be a better defender in football.
    Saturday – I did football with my friends .
    Sunday – I did basketball with my friends .

    I used stamina, strength and flexibility by doing the night crawl, moving my arms in small circles and Gymnastics.
    I want to improve my flexibility.
    Saturday – riding my bike by my self and walking.
    Sunday – walking with family and skipping
