Author visit
We were very lucky to meet author, Mark Lowry. We had an assembly where we listened to an extract of his book. It was very entertaining! We learnt what inspired him to write his books.
Collaging
To ‘keep learning’, we used collaging skills to create a river scene as a background for our surrealist art. We used creative thinking, resilience and tenacity to creat our own unique pieces.
British values
We discuss the importance of British values and what we can do to be good British citizens. We then worked collaboratively to create a British values display for our classroom.

We were brilliant role models whilst playing with Year 1 children. We used the parachute
