Today we learnt the difference between direct speech and reported speech. We have a great time being eyewitnesses and reporters of a UFO above the Year 5 classes.

Explain the difference between reported and direct speech?
Direct is where someone actually says it and reported is where someone says something and you report it to others
Direct speech marks in a sentence and reported speech also known as indirect speech and writing the speech out fully.
Reported speech is when someone reports what someone else says.
Direct speech is when someone is speaking directly to someone.
The difference between direct and reported speech is that direct speech is said out loud and reported speech is when someone tells you something and you report it.
