Children return to school Mon 8th April

As part of Art Week Year 6 had the opportunity to visit The Herbert Art Gallery and visit Coventry Cathedral. They had the opportunity to see an artist called Julia Snowdin and listen to her story of how she became an artist and what it takes to be resilience. Alongside this they took time to look around both the cathedrals and understand the RESILIENCE it took to re- build the city.

A wonderful day with great behaviour and super manners when they met the governor Mr Rodger Medwell. Well done Year 6

I learnt that the worlds longest tapestry was made from Graham and it took two years for him to make.

I learnt that Julia Snowdin used half of her wealth going towards art and the other nine thousand went towards herself. She also had lots of jobs to go to.
