Hi Everyone,
We hope you have all had a fun and enjoyable music week. In year 6, we have taken part in many different activities. One of the favorite things we have done is written, composed and recorded our own National Anthem. Within the anthem, we portrayed a positive message of the UK. Because the original anthem of Britain is quite old fashioned now, we made it modern by making our own version of it as a rap. The skills we used were teamwork, IT, editing and presenting. Everyone had lots of fun and showed there hidden personalities. We all hope you had a fantastic week and created unique master pieces.
However, the highlight of our week has be winning the Broad Awards for our performance of Valerie by Amy Winehouse! Everyone did SO well, but we were thrilled that our hard work paid off and we won the trophy! Watch our performance again below :)
