  1. Chinese new year is a time for families to be together everyone is expected to at home celebrating the festival with family. The new years eve dinner is called ‘reunion dinner’ and is believed to be the most important meal of the year.

    At home they put up decorations in red and give each other red envelopes.
    Outside they perform traditional lion and Dragon dances and fireworks displays.

    The chinese emperor created the zodiac calendar to follow the the cycle of the moon.
