As part of our “people who help us” topic, we have been learning all about firefighters and today we had a visit from our local firefighters. The children were super excited and they had so many questions about how firefighters helps us in our community. Here are some photos and videos of the visit.

Grace said she was excited to see the fire fighters and their truck, but was more excited to watch Mrs Watkins putting on the fire fighters uniform.
Riya and Shreya were really excited to explain everything they had seen about the fire engine. They enjoyed and learned so many things from the firefighters. Thank you!

Firefighters came to my class today and they told me that when the house is on fire🔥, put on your clothes and shoes and run outside quickly and call the fire department to save my home
I enjoyed going into the firefighters truck and also when the siren was on.
I also enjoyed when Mrs Watkins wore the firefighters suit.
“I think it was very funny when Mrs Langley got stuck in the boots. I liked the nee naw on the truck and I liked to go in the fire engine it was cool”
Adam said poor Mrs Langley foot got stuck in the boot… It was funny he said to.
