This week, we had a busy but fun time learning about France. We have jumped and counted to 10 in French, made crepes and sampled them, created Christmas cards and written on them in French, learnt about the Louvre Museum where the Mona Lisa painting is housed and painted self portraits in the same style. We have used our measuring skills to find out who could make the tallest tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows and lots more. Here are some snapshots of our week.
What is the capital city of France called?
Why do you think Mona Lisa didn’t show her teeth?
What ingredients did we use to make the crepes?
We thought that our crepes tastes super! The children thought of alternative adjectives to describe them.
Can you think of any interesting adjectives to describe the crepes?
