Adding and subtracting – Finding 10 more and 10 less

This week, Year 2 have been learning about adding and subtracting ten. We have used our addition and subtraction skills, using a hundred square and dienes.

Answer the questions below. Use the hundred square to check your answers.
Remember… when adding 10, we move 1 space down on the hundred square. When subtracting 10, we move one space up on the hundred square.

Can you find 20 more and less? This time, you make 2 jumps down on the hundred square for 20 more and for 20 less, make two jumps up.
