Are there any cracks in your teamwork?

As part of our wellbeing today, we worked in teams to avoid cracks forming. Each group was provided with resources, time and tips for success (listen, share, trust) to create the tallest, most sturdiest tower to hold the weight of an πŸ₯š. Below is a video showcasing how eggcited children were to protect their πŸ₯š from cracking.

Was your tower eggcillent or was it a yolk?

I liked this activite as we had to work as a team to make the egg on our tower stand. We used the school values resileance , respect and imagination.
Resileance beacuse we had to work as a team and what ever we did we never gave up.
Respect beacuse we had to listen to each others ideas and try to make a plan out of The ideas.
Imagination beacuse we had to use our imagination to plan out what we were going to design.

To be successful, you need to have imagination and teamwork. My groups tower failed to stand up but we tried our hardest for it to be the tallest. Thanks to the teachers who planned this for us.

I think it was a good activity because it will help our friend ship and teamwork also the challenge was to make a structure high but stable so you had to think and have good communication skills so you can tell people there jobs but not be too bossy so everyone is sad . Also it is good because you have to be resilient because if it falls you have to start again and not give up so it helps there Also imagination . By the way I really enjoyed the lesson and thank you for the lesson.

I think doing this had helped us by not just getting on with what your doing but using comunicaition and talking to each other and working as a team to try to not only build a tall tower but to put an egg in it and see if it would stand. I found it very helpful because we all ad a main part and took it in turns to say what we think and what we could change so it made us also resilient as at first we didn’t get that it had to be tall and when we got told we didn’t give up straight away we spoke about what we could do and what to take off to make it taller.

I enjoyed building a tower to hold an egg.To succeed we needed to work as a team and combine our skills to make the tallest tower we could.Even if you do not build the tallest tower, you can still have fun. This activity in my opinion helps build our teamwork skills.

I enjoyed this lesson because it is very interesting to work as a team to build a tall πŸ₯š holder. I am very proud of me and my team because we had the biggest πŸ₯š holder and we worked as a team to make it so tall. First, we created a plan on how we will start and how it will look.

I enjoyed the lesson even if my creation was not how my group intended it to be. I am truly grateful to the adults who planned this for us. During the lesson we had to use creativeness, imagination and teamwork to be successful.

I extremely enjoyed today’s lesson with Mrs Ahmed. It was full of our creative and imaginative minds and how we could work as a team to succeed. All of the children collaborated with one another and even though there were a few spaces for improvement with our buildings, everybody enjoyed. The main part was to have fun and at the end analyse your project and think of what could’ve we done or what did we miss out. Collectively, we all communicated well and had some amazing towers. My group consisted of me, Muad and Laraib and we had an eggcellent tower. The egg happened to stay on there for 5 seconds +. Next time I think we should improve on our tower’s height and base!

I really enjoyed this lesson as we worked as a team and showed the Broad Heath value teamwork, resilience, respect and commitment. Teamwork because we had to listen to each other and work as a team to make the structure. Resilience because we had to not give up and keep on trying until we succeeded in making our tower. Respect because we had to respect our team mate’s ideas. Commitment because we were really committed to making the tower. I also really enjoyed this lesson because I had lots of fun! 😊
