Around the World to South Africa.

During Around the World week Reception Red travelled to the country of South Africa and participated in lots of exciting learning. They  learnt about maps, dressed up in african clothes, made South African jewellery, counted in Afrikaans and learnt all about the South African flag.

    2. The British flag is called the Union Jack and it has 3 colours on it. They are red, white and blue.
    3. The oldest mountain in Cape Town, South Africa is called Table Top Mountain.
    4. You can find giraffes, elephants, rhino’s, meerkats, lions and many more cool animals in South Africa!
