Birmingham Botanical Gardens Trip

Year 4 will be visiting Birmingham Botanical Gardens this Wednesday 15th November. Here are a few things that you need to know about the visit.

Children that normally have a school meal will be provided with a packed lunch for the trip. Otherwise, you will need to provide a packed lunch for your child. Please do not send any fizzy drinks or sweets. We will allow one treat, which can be crisps or chocolate for their lunchbox. Healthy lunch ideas include: sandwiches, wraps, pasta, fruit, water or squash to drink.

Children will be wearing school uniform for the trip. We also ask for children to wear sensible, sturdy shoes and a warm coat as there is an outside element for the day.

If your child suffers with travel sickness, please make sure they take their travel sickness tablets before the journey, and also make sure that they have a tablet for the journey home.

If you have any further questions about the visit, please see your child’s class teacher.

  1. Botanical Garden is an amazing trip as you could learn about plants. I can`t remember but I think their is a peacock their so anyway go have fun and enjoy the ride. If their is a peacock their do not shout in front of their face and don’t be silly trying to wind them up. My teacher in year 5 old me her old class went to the trip and she told our class that one boy was bitten by the bottom.

  2. My friend Ellie went to Botanical Gardens when she was in yr 2,(who is now in yr 9) she said that she had a great fun time their.
Hopefully we have a safe travel to Botanical Gardens and back.
