Bread Tasting in 4 Blue 🥯🍞🥖🥨

This half term in DT, Year 4 are looking at bread. As we get ready to design and make our own bread, today we tasted some existing types and made notes on their texture, appearance, smell and of course, taste!

Some we liked a lot, and others… not so much. There were also lots of different opinions about the same type of bread.

Which type of bread that we tried was your favourite?

What other types of bread do you know? Which do you like the best?

Is there anything from the breads we tried that you want to include in yours?

    My favourite bread was the chocolate chip bread.
    I know hovis,worbutons,50 50 bread,Kingsmill,Roberts and sunbake.
    On my bread I would like to add cheese and onions.

    My favourite bread was the seeded bread. The other types of bread I know are: brioche, chocolate chip, pitta bread, tiger bread and white bread. In my bread I would like to include seeds and a few pieces of chocolate.

    My favourite bread was the chocolate chip and the seaded bread because the texture is soft and the smell is good.
    The other type of bread 🍞🍞🍞 I know is tiger bread,and white bread.The other type of bread I want to include is chocolate chip and other type of bread.

    I love the seeded, chocolate chip and brioche because the textures were insane the smell was mouth watering and the taste was toothsome

    My favourite bread was choclate chip.
    Another bread i liked was the briche.

    The Pitta bread was my favourite. Other than the bread we tried, seeded bread is my favourite (with the seeds on the inside). I want to include a pleasant amount of butter like the brioche bread has. I also want the bread to be soft and have a good texture after it finishes baking.

    My favourite bread was the chocalate chip. I know Hovis bread and warbutons. I like the chocalate chip best. I want to include Hovis in my Chart.

    chocolate chip.
    There is a sour bread,seed bread,vitta bread I like the seed bread.
    I would include the seeded bread and the vitta bred
    the most out of these breads.
