On a very cold and windy Tuesday afternoon the Broad Heath boys were back in action against John Gulson.
Our previous meetings this year hadn’t gone Broad Heath’s way so the boys were looking forward to a challenge today.
Our squad had a few changes from the last game with Pasoon, Kayden R and Umarr stepping up after some good performances in training.
We played 8 aside with a formation of 3-3-1. Moman started in goal with Abdas, Pasoon and Abdul at the back. Umarr, Kaiden and Yamen in midfield and Osman as a lone striker with Usman and Kayden R as subs.
All the BH boys put in 100% during the match showing some outstanding performances. Mr Elliot and I were extremely pleased and proud of all of the boys performances this is by far our best performance of the school year.
Goal scorers today were Kaiden D, Usman and Umarr with 3 very good goals.
We now though move on to our next fixture in the Ben Whelan Cup due to be played against Frederick Bird later in the term we will give you updates for the game as soon as we know.
MOM today is a joint decision and goes to both Abdas for some outstanding defending and Moman for some excellent bravery in goal.
Well done boys come and see me or Mr Elliot for a wristband.
