Broad Heath v John Gulson

Date 11/11/2014    Score 2-4  Scorers Ibrahim (pen),Junior

Team: Ayub,Humayan (c),Rayne,Ibrahim,Ronaldo,Junior and Amaan. Subs Arjun and Devontay

For the fourth time this season Broad Heath named the same team to face John Gulson.Humayan took over the captaincy as the coaches were looking for an improved display following last weeks loss to Ernesford Grange. At the start both teams took time to settle into any rhythm but eventually Broad Heaths passing and movement skills were allowing them to constantly attack the John Gulson goal.

From a corner Amaan sent a powerful header towards the goal which just skimmed the cross bar.The next attack brought pressure on the John Gulson defence leading to a handball and a penalty awarded.Ibrahim coolly scored from the spot.

Broad Heath immediately went in search for more goals and Junior fired in a super right footed shot to make it 2-0.However in time added on Broad Heath also gave a penalty away which was scored giving a half time score of 2-1.

The second half was a different story as a combination of Broad Heath getting tired and John Gulsons greater strength was beginning to show and an equaliser was scored. Both sides were trying to find more goals and it looked a draw would be the final outcome only for John Gulson to add 2 more goals in the final minutes to leave them victors 4-2.

Check out Ibrahim’s penalty :)

Junior scored our 2nd goal! :)

I managed to record an amazing save made by Ayub. Well done, this save was awesome!
