  10. 1)Michael wrote a personal version of the ship’s log what he didn’t have to do but he was encouraged to do it every few weeks but writing it was only natural to him and when he spoke the words that he wanted to write and then it traveled down his arm into his pen and then it went on his paper.

3)I think Michaels favourite job on the ship was him taking his turn at the wheel on the ship when his mother(the skipper) allowed him to.I think his least favourite job on the ship was mopping up when he was not helping his dad or navigating the ship

4)Michael can no longer argue with his mother because now she was the captain of the ship(the skipper) and he was just a crew member who has to wash up and dry the clothes on aggressive days.Unlike at home when he was able to argue with his mom when they got in a disagreement.
