Easter Message for 1 Red

Thank you for such a fun and exciting term of learning! The amount of progress made by each of you has been phenomenal! You should be so proud of yourselves, because Mrs Patel and I are bursting with pride. We have been fortunate to celebrate our hard work by winning the behaviour brick wall! So let’s keep up the fantastic attitude for learning we have established.

You have 2 weeks off to do whatever you wish, but please don’t forget. If you want to be even more amazing than you are right now, keep practising your handwriting, high frequency words (page 7 in reading diary), read your books, count in 2s, 5s and 10s to become secure for the Summer term.

In your homework book, you will find these to practise. I will also set lots of activities for you to take part in on EdCity, so keep an eye out on Monday.

What has been your most favourite memory of the Spring term?
My favourite memories include:
*The animal visit, where a long, scaly snake was wrapped around my neck.
*The talent show!
*Rock kids concert
*Making healthy fruit kebabs
*I also loved your 3D houses, made from cereal boxes – you created hinges for a door! How clever are you all!?
* Your story writing on ’The Tiger Who Came To Tea’, and ’Finding Fred’ were FANTASTIC!
*Finally, let’s not forget our very first trip to St John’s Museum! What a day that was!

Thank you for being the best and always trying your best.
Be safe and enjoy your break.
Miss Ostick

We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! Yusuf has practiced his Speed Sounds, he looked at ‘ow’ ‘oo’ and ‘ar’. We have read our book called ‘The Motorway’. Yusuf said his favourite memory was when we had to find Fred! 🐸
