In Autumn 2, 6 Red are learning about Evolution in Science and learning about Mountains in Topic. I’d like you to use your knowledge of this work to help you in your English homework this week.

Facts about the mountain range (including the height of some of the peaks and which continent and country)

Which animals live in that mountain range (which predators and prey do they have)?

-How are the animals adapted to their environment?

-Are there any seasonal changes in the area?

    How are animals adapted to their environment?
    They have really warm fur to help them keep warm in their environment and they have their eyes so they can see far away from their in environment they also have claws so they can hold on to rocky Mountains.
    Are their any seasonal changes in the environment?
    When the summer or spring come the ice on top of the surface melts in the water and when it is winter it gets really cold and adds more ice ont he surface on the water.

    They have warm fur that keeps them warm and strong feet for jumping and gripping on uneven grounds. Their eyes help them to see far away and their strong smell of sense helps them to hunt for food to survive.
    3. Are there any seasonal changes in the area?
    When spring arrives the snow melts and this allows for plants and flowers to grow. This then allows the bears to come out of hibernation and eat plenty of plants which makes them put on a lot of weight.
