Good morning Year 6 I hope you are all safe and well. Well done to you all for being determined to continue with your learning! Whilst it is extremely important that you guys keep on making progress in your academic learning, it’s also important that you understand what is happening around you and in the world! So I will have posted this blog on current affairs and I would like you to watch the news clip (bbc newsround) and share your thoughts on this clip.

  1. What I liked in the video was when the monkeys were swimming across the river . I didn’t know monkeys like to swim . That was hilarious ! I hope England wins .

  2. I have learnt 18 or over to get the Covid vaccine and good luck England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 you got this hopefully Harry Kane scores he is the best player in the team.

    I learnt something new about Camels as I didn’t know they shed hair, interesting!

  4. I have learnt even if your Muslim you can still do ballet and it shouldn’t stop you from your dream. Also I really hope England wins GO ENGLAND!!!

  5. I learnt disappointment at Wembley has sadly been a recurring theme for Scotland since their first visit in 1924. In 32 Wembley meetings Scotland have beaten England a mere nine times, with England winning 18. All the best to England national team . Make it 19 time and make us proud.

    And I’ve Learned That In Scottland You Can Do The Vaccine Over The Age Of 18 Or At The Age Of 18

    • Pooja remember to use capital letters correctly, even though we are typing out our responses, we must try to use our grammar skills correctly.

  7. I have learnt that musslim girls can do ballet without music insted they listen to poetry. Also People in sckotland who are 18 or over cn get the vaccine; its England vs Scotland for the euro.

    • Remember to check you spelling and capital letters Sabirin… I know it’s difficult when typing out your responses! This is how you spell Scotland and do you need a capital “P” for people?

  10. In Scotland you have to be OVER 18 to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
    Muslim girls can have dance lessons but without music because of their beliefs.
