Fantastic Fractions in 3Blue!

Children learnt about identifying a half and a quarter of an amount and understood the concept. They enjoyed the practical side of the lesson and were able to apply their learning to the activities. You all did a fantastic job ~ well done.

    I have been practicing fractions at home on TT Rockstars too.

    10 is half of 20 because 20-10=10 and if you split 20 into two equal groups there is 10 in each group.

    We find the numerator at the top and the denominator at the bottom of a fraction question.
