  1. The person i would nominate from our school would be Sarah Biek because she is a girl and i think that it is brave for a girl to play football with boys. Also, when she trips over the ball or falls over she just gets back up and starts playing. As well as that she is just so enthustiastic and is a good football player.

  2. Van Perse because he’s a brilliant footballer in the strikers area. I wish I was a footballer like him but I think the wages would go down if I be a footballer.

    • Good choice Irfaan. Van Persie is a great goal scorer and has almost won the League Title for Manchester United on his own. I do agree though that if you we’re playing in place of him the wages would go down to maybe a PE lollipop for every goal you scored.

  3. Gareth Bale

Gareth Frank Bale (born 16 July 1989) is a Welsh footballer who plays for English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Wales national team as a winger.
Bale began his professional career at Southampton, playing at left back, earning acclaim as a free kick specialist. Since transferring to Spurs in 2007, managerial and tactical shifts have seen him transform into a more offensively-oriented player. Since the 2009–10 season, Bale has played an integral role in Tottenham’s success domestically and in the Champions League. Bale has received recognition by certain commentators and colleagues as being one of the most exciting footballers of his generation, and during the 2012–13 season was awarded the PFA Young Player of the Year, the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year awards

  4. I would name sirj the best footballer of the yeat the reason for this is because he always trys 100percent when were playing matches againts diffrent schools.

    • Chanelle – Sirag always tries really hard to do his best and that’s good. He also has something that is a gift from who knows where and that is – SPEED.
He is naturally very quick. And when he learns how to use his gift he should be a very god player. Thanks for your comment

    • Gerrard ( and look at the spelling Lenny because he would be really upset if he knew that you thought he was a great player but couldn’t spell his name correctly). And my question also asked for reasons why you made your choice – so tell me.

  5. I think it is marta because she is one of the best girl footballers.here is infoormation about her.

Marta Vieira da Silva (born 19 February 1986 in Dois Riachos, Alagoas), commonly known as Marta, is a Brazilian football forward who plays for the Tyresö FF (Ladies) of Damallsvenskan. She is also a member of the Brazil women’s national football team.

She has been named FIFA World Player of the Year five consecutive times, in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. She was a member of the Brazilian national teams that won the silver medal at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. She was also awarded the Golden Ball (MVP) at the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship. In the 2007 Women’s World Cup, she won both the Golden Ball award as the best player and the Golden Boot award as the top scorer. She also tops the all–time Women’s World Cup goalscorer list alongside Birgit Prinz.

    • Sarah – What a super star is Marta da Silva, and I’ve never heard of her so thank you for all the information. She must be the best ladies footballer in the world so you’ve made a really good choice.

  6. Lenny – Ronaldo is a truly great player so, good choice. BUT he doesn’t play in the English football league so you need to pick a player who does play in our league.
    Try again.
