G7 Project Week in Reception Blue

There has been lots of excellent learning this week in Reception Blue. We have been finding out about the effects of plastic pollution on our seas and the importance of recycling. We found out about the UK Prime Minister and the important role he plays in tackling climate change. We investigated and discussed how plastic pollution happens and how it harms sea creatures, and created posters to encourage plastic recycling. We also looked at different food packaging which can be recycled and sorted them according to the materials they are made from.

Please have a look at our super learning and leave a comment.

  1. What was your favourite part of the week?

What was your favourite part of the week? I really liked learning how to keep our world healthy and happy.
Why is plastic pollution bad? It is bad because it can harm the animals. What can we do to help? We can recycle, put all our rubbish in the bin, and clean up rubbish that we see. We can turn lights off and turn taps off. We can walk, run and ride a bike, instead of taking a bus or car. We can stop chopping the trees down, and help the turtles find a place to lay their eggs.
