Greater depth maths in 5 Blue πŸ“πŸ“šβž•πŸ”΅

Today in 5B, I set some children a super challenge which was to work out if a baby was 1,000,000 seconds old, how old it would be.

The children worked together, applying their knowledge of tim, to solve this very challenging question.

Well done 5B, some brilliant work here πŸ‘ Have a go at these challenges. Whoever has a go, I will choose a name at random and they will get jelly beans πŸ˜€

Bronze challenge: if the baby was 2 million seconds old, how old would the baby be?

Silver: if the baby was 500,000 seconds old, how old would the baby be?Β

Gold: if the baby was 23 million seconds old, how old would they be?Β

Platinum: write 1 billion. If this ‘baby’ was 1 billion seconds old, how old would they be?Β
